Fighters Roleplay

I felt many vibrations start in the ground, felt the thumping of feet, heard the voices filter through, felt the commotion and unease, knowing what happened to ABCDE somehow.

I stopped up short, pulling back the Air so it settled around us.

"We're close to the Kingdom. I can feel it through the Earth. We can walk from here, it's probably just another two days walk if we kept a fast pace. Though we can keep it easy." I looked to them both. Their breaths were haggard after running for so long.

"Walking it is. Let us start forward, my good friends." I gestured towards where I had my senses feel out the vibrations.

The Kingdom of FGHIJ was very large, and I was probably only sensing the edges of the trade routs going into the Kingdom's marketplace. I felt their suspicions and how on guard they were, "They know about what happened at the Arena. They don't know who or what caused it, they're on edge, so they might not let us in as easily as we thought, though I'm sure we'll clear it. We can't possibly be carrying anything. Unless I shoved something-"

Palila slapped my leg, "Yeah, yeah. I know. You're practically naked, unless you did, which you didn't, you're too anal for that."

I rolled my eyes, "The fact that it would hurt and just thinking about it would stop me one hundred yards from that thought."

"Only one hundred?"

"Well, yeah. I got to get close enough to see what it's about, if I'm too far away I won't know why to stay away, and then I might just get into it later on. Gotta check out the footing on the bridge, you know?"

Palila choked on the air she was sucking in. I laughed at her stricken expression, "Chill your tits. I'm not into that sort of thing. Just, be on guard when we get close to the Kingdom gates, alright guys?"

They both nodded at me, and I let them have a moment to catch their breaths. They weren't in tune with the Elements like I was, drawing small amounts of power from the area around to replenish the energy. I didn't know if I could do that for them, I had to conduct some experiments with that area.

Another moment, and we were off again, heading for the Kingdom FGHIJ.

I shivered. Aiden was definitely not afraid of talking about that stuff.

We continued, I was sniffing for signs of other animals. There were some faint traces of normal hares, some humans, the usual. The humans had probably been from FGHIJ. According to Aiden we were definitely closer, but to me, there was no difference.

We trekked along, Aiden paused at random times to listen for something or what not. I sighed. This was going to be a long 2 days.

I smiled down at Palila as we were getting closer and closer, her face was long as she sighed, her shoulders hunching. The sun was bearing down on us, I was getting more and more tan by the minute.

The two looked tired and haggard. "Well, we will rest for now, guys. Replenish ourselves on water, then continue on when you would wish to."

(Sorry, it's short, I know. >.< )

I groaned in relief, then began to dig at the soil- it was surprisingly soft. I was a few inches deep when the soil turned to water. I looked up at Aiden, she was telling Luke something. "Aiden, I think there's a pond or something nearby. I just dug into water."

She came over to inspect, but I could tell she had already known this. She felt at the soil. "You're right. I'd say it's a little to the West," she pointed. I dashed over there before she could. I tripped and fell face first into a little pond. I pulled my head back, thankfully only my head got wet, and sniffed at it. Clean. It wasn't stagnant, there was a slight current, maybe from a river? Either way it was good water.

I lapped at it a little, then a little more, until I was gulping it down. I had never tasted water so refreshing before.

I turned away from the FuzzBucket to stick my fingers in the soil and water, looking up. She was right. She dashed off in the direction of where I felt the water was coming from.

I followed closely behind, FuzzBucket on my heels, "Water!" He squealed, jumping in and landing in a splash. I sent out my power and grabbed at the water as it sailed into the air, capturing every single piece, making sure I got all of it. I didn't want to waste it as it flew everywhere.

I let it hang there for a moment, Palila gasped, looking around her in awe as the droplets were hanging there. Luke reached his head up and snatched a droplet right out of the air.

I eased it back down into the puddle, nudging Luke out of the way, "Come on, FuzzBucket, we need it for drinking, not bathing your stank butt." I winked at him as I let it drop back down, settling in.

I dipped my hands into the water like a cup and brought it to my face, drinking down the cool water, letting it slide down the back of my dry throat, making a mmmm sound. I dipped my hands in again and brought it to my face, drenching it to cool down my skin, raising my face to the sky to have it evaporate off naturally, laying back on the grass and moss around the pond.

I nibbled at the fresh grass around the pond. It tasted sooo good, a little plain, but it was the best food for a jackalope. I was glad to have Aiden around, I doubted I would have made it anywhere near this close to FGHIJ without her help. Without her, it would've taken me like a couple of weeks to get there!

I stroked my baseball bat, the last time I used it had been.. Oh. Yeah. The metal was cool and smooth, and I nudged it. Still sturdy. I wondered when we would have to fight again- if we did at all.

(Speaking of which... Should we run into am ABCDE search party on the way there, and have to fight them?)

(Yeah, I was thinking of having Aiden hearing something in the forest and being like, "Someone is out here with us," All ominous-like. xD )

I noticed how Palila stoked her bat, I felt my own weapons sheathed on my thighs and my back. I felt their weight on me every second of the day, though I didn't pay any mind to it. I grew attached to them, though I knew they weren't adequate enough against the Warriors I knew were out there.

And neither was my armor. I scowled down at it, "When we get to FGHIJ, we need to get better armor for ourselves. This is not adequate enough if we're going to be moving around and stuff, incase something happens. Always gotta be prepared."

I would mourn at the trading of my weapons for new ones, though it was needed, I felt the loss already, growing sad as I drew my long sword from my back, reaching into the pouch that hung from my hip to grab the special sharpening tool I had so I could fix up the blade a little bit before I moved onto the daggers, looking onto it with forlorn.

I laid back, full. Dappled sunlight filtered through the green leaves, making my fur look spotted. It was a pretty effect, to be honest.

I scratched at my fur a little, it had gotten knotted a lot since we ran away. I had ample time to groom it back at the coliseum, but now, I had forgotten about it. I leisurely began to groom my arm, taking my time, and listening to Aiden. Armor could work for me, and she definitely needed it- fighting someone in that skimpy suit was hard enough, but out here there would be no 'I need water!' and contained fight.

I watched her sharper her sword, thinking about how she could easily murder me right now if she wanted. But I knew she wouldn't. My heart filled with happiness as I thought about that. I had a friend, one I could trust. And that was the best thing that had come of running away.

i drank tons of water to the point where i felt so fat that i just laid down on my back while listening to my new friends talk about armor and weapons.

I would never use them, my mother told me that us lycans never used armor because we had skin the strength of bark and fur as strong as vines binded together. And we didnt us weapons because our teeth could shred anything living to peices and our claws could slash through any material.

Then she would tell me that i was stronger than the rest of the lycans, i was thicker and bigger than any of the lycan of nine years, and to top it of my heart was as large as a boulder she said. Everyone would always joke that i had a body of a lycan brute but the heart of a meer dog.

I came back to reality to see the cute little jackalope and the strong gorgeous human sitting near the pond either sharpening weapons or cleaning their fur. I liked these two a lot.

I finished sharpening the blade of my sword, appraising it, how it now looked new that it was gleaming silver in the filtered light. My eyes started to droop as I sheathed it in it's scabbard. I reached down to my right dagger, removing it from it's sheath, sharpening that one. When I finished, I gently stabbed the tip into my palm, it was sharp, though it didn't draw blood.

I frowned, sharpening it again. It was double sided, like my long-sword. I got into the motions, running it across the right side five times, then the left, right, left, schink, schink, schink, schink, schink, went the tool against the blade.

I tested it again, stabbing it into my palm gently. This time, it drew a droplet of blood, and I smiled in approval, sheathing it as I started on the other one.

Just as I finished, I heard a sound out far in the woods. I stopped mid-motion, my hand on the hilt of my dagger, my other hand in the pouch, grasping the sharpening tool.

I looked up and around, everything was still, so still. It was quiet. Too quiet, I didn't hear the buzzing of bugs, didn't hear the birds calling. I heard the wind rustle through the leaves, and I smelt something on the air, and I didn't like it.

Palila noticed my behavior, sitting up, "What?" She asked. I dropped the sharpening tool into my pouch, raising a finger to my lips to hush any other questions. I looked to Luke, he was on alert as well, his ears twitching on his head as they swiveled back and forth.

I sheathed my dagger, and carefully drew my long-sword from my back, the blade making a hissing sound and a twang as it became free from it's bonds. I stood up from my crouch, eyeing the forest around us.

"We're not alone."

My eyes widened. They couldn't have sent a search party this far so fast! Then again, they have helicopters, tanks, motorcycles- way more advanced technology than we ever had.

I could start to hear it too, very faintly, and I could've even been imagining it. It almost sounded like machinery whirring- perhaps a plane after us? A car loaded with people with guns? I would never know. Or maybe I would- in a few short minutes. I silently hopped close to Aiden, lifting my bat carefully, now on two legs. Aiden still towered over me, but I was taller than before.

I stepped forward a little, listening more carefully. It was slightly louder, but still far off. I grimaced, shooting a glance towards Aiden. This could either end well or not at all..

Even if we escaped, we were still considered prisoners, criminals, even if I helped everyone out of the building as I could, even if I saved all the people there from being crushed, even though we escaped, we were still prisoners. To them, we were dangerous, to us, we were just trying to survive, get to FGHIJ without further problems.

Sure, we had no qualms about killing, though that didn't matter. "Stay close." I whispered.

The whirring of blades got closer and closer. I sent out just a smidgen of my power, sending it in all directions around us to feel in the earth for them. They were right on top of us.

I let out a breath, "They're-"

"Elemental!" A voice boomed out to us. Damn and Double-Damn. I felt at least thirty or so men surrounding us. How could I have been so careless to let my guard down for a second?

I raised my eyes to where the voice came from, I held the sword in my right hand tightly, though not too tight lest it make the mark inaccurate and I lost the fight.

"The one and only." I called back, a smirk lighting my face as I raised my chin higher, my eyes going straight for the Guard that emerged from the shadows. It was not someone I recognized from the Stadium.

"You and the jackalope are coming with us. We don't have records of the Lycanthrope, though he comes with us as well, harboring criminals."

I stepped in front of Palila and Luke, my sword going straight out to a point to my right, my muscles tensing and my jaw clenching as I eyes him menacingly.

"Over my dead body. I've never fought back in that forsaken place, though I will now. He is innocent, only a child."

"Regardless, your dead body can be arranged." And like that, he raised his hand, flat out to us, palm facing me. He smirked, and closed his hand into a tight fist.

Shouts rang through the air as the twenty nine others swarmed us. I took in a deep breath and stomped my foot, shooting my hand out and back behind me, enclosing Palila and Luke in a stone box to protect them. With that, I sapped up what was left of my juice. I grimaced as I felt my power slowly drift out of focus as they converged on me.

I swung out my sword, decapitating a man with one clean swipe, more came, it wasn't like in the movies where on came at a time, that was just complete bogus. At this moment, this was real, and I fought back, taking down as many as I could before they all out-gunned me.

I huddled next to Luke in the stone box, shivering as the sounds of fighting leaked through the stone a little. I felt a little glad to not have to fight- but also guilty that Aiden was facing all of them alone. I just hugged Luke, whispering, "I hope she's okay..." and counting to myself.

The sounds were muted a little, then intensified, and I realized it was me grabbing at my ears, as if that would save me. I prayed and prayed this would be over soon- so we could run to FGHIJ as fast as we could, and get to safety, and just live a normal life!

Oh Aiden, don't be stupid! Live!

I quickly started digging in the corner, my instincts kicking in and after about two minutes i had made a whole outside. "We need to help" i said to the jackalope.

I ran to the fight and started attacking the closest men, i jumped between two men slashing their throats and then i landed on a third ripping his throat out with my jaws.

Then i heard more men coming towards me so i leaped behind a bush that was in front of, turned around and leaped again, claws ready to shred and teeth exposed tearing apart three more men.

Then i tore a guys arm off that had snatched up the jackalope. I wasnt going down without a fight, not when i just met these friends...

I swung my bat wildly, keeping away from Aiden and Luke. I smashed the skull of some unfortunate guy, just as something picked me up. Luke saved the day, pulling his arm straight off. I avoided looking at the bloody mess, instead, I just smiled and nodded a 'Thanks!' at him.

I decided to go after the shins, instead of taking the time to get them in the head- get them down, and maybe we could interrogate them later.

I bashed in a couple of tibiae(I think that's the plural), pausing to glance at the others- were they alright? Were we winning?

I simply couldn't tell.

I snarled and raged, swinging my sword all which ways, stabbing several and severing limbs. Five converged on me at the same time, too quick for me to react. One, a man, stepped into me, leaving little space for my sword. He slammed me against the stone box I had erected, his hand going to my throat to hold me there.

I gasped for breath, struggling against him. I held my sword in one hand as I reached down to my left thigh, reaching for the dagger there. He didn't see it, nobody did. They all laughed as I struggled.

"Seems you've been out-matched, Aiden Alex Noririn. You're not so tough without using your Elements, are you?" The one that spoke earlier sneered, walking closer. I glared at him, my hand grasping the dagger. In one quick motion, I sent it upwards into the guy's chest that was holding me there, twisting it before yanking it out. I sent a knee up into his groin and dropped my sword and sheathing my dagger, reaching up as he bent over. I grabbed his head in both hands and twisted, snapping his neck.

He dropped down to the ground, dead. I looked up to what I assumed was the leader of the group. "I'm sorry, were you saying something? I was busy being a badass." I replied back smoothly, a brow raising.

He barked at his men to attack, and they converged. I grabbed up my sword and sheathed it, grasping the other dagger and drawing it out.

"Let's dance." I snarled as six came on to me. I darted out my right hand, sending a fist into the face of the first one that reached me, he stumbled back and I took that moment to step up to him and stab him three times in his sides, each in quick succession, twisting the blade each time I yanked it out at an angle. One above his hip, one below his ribs, and one right into his ribs, puncturing his heart.

I turned to the others, lashing out and dodging, dancing around and toying with them so they came closer and within reach. I easily dispatched three others, just two more and then the rest. I wasn't aware of Palila and Luke fighting near me, everything was blurred together, though I fought anyways.

I opened myself for an attack, and one of the two took the bait, sending a blade towards my midsection, I beat him to it. I sent my left arm out, blocking him smoothly without getting cut, pushing his arm away and twisting it, sending my other blade deep into his chest.

I wasn't quick enough for the other guy though, as he sent a dagger in behind my back, shoving it upwards through my lower right back. He yanked back my hair, rasping into my ear, "You can take your honor, your glory, your fight, and shove it up your ass."

That's when another stepped up in front of me and raised his gun, aimed at me, and took fire.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as I saw a gun being pointed at Aiden. I could jump to save her! If it hit her, it would get her in the head and she WOULD die, but if it hit me, I might get by with just a bullet wound in my midsection.

I jumped as far as I could, not sure if the bullet hit me or not. The men were blurred, all I could see was Aiden, staring at me, mouth open. The pain hit me. I screamed and almost fell, but stayed standing. "Stay away from Aiden!" I screeched, biting the one with the gun's foot. He shook me off and I reached for my bat, swinging it right up in-between his legs.

i freaked out once i heard the gunshot, my vision went red and i was on a manslaughter.

Men shot at me but every bullet just sent me a hot feeling in that area, i killed and killed till i saw no one left but my friends.

I looked down at my chest to see 9 bullet wounds, i just stared watching my self shrink back to regular size. All the while each bullet got pushed back through my skin and they landed on the ground, then my skin patched it back up.

I was about to walk over then i passed out from my body's healing energy...

I screamed as Palila jumped in front of the bullet for me. The pain from the knife in my back didn't hurt, the pain of being beaten on didn't hurt. The pain of seeing Palila take a bullet for me? It was unbearable.

I sent an elbow into the guy standing behind me, pulling away. I yanked the blade out of my back, seeing only red as I sent into his face. Blood splattered across my face as I shoved him over, convulsing and dying to the ground.

I turned around quickly, my daggers in hand as I pounced on the one that was aiming for me as he was doubled over in pain from Palila sending her bat to his nut sack. I jumped up into the air and sent my feet into his chest, kicking him over.

I went into a roll as I landed coming up and going down again, sinking my daggers deep into his throat. With a snarl, I twisted them deep in his throat, his blood spurting out as I severed his jugular, cutting his windpipe and destroying it.

I leaned forward to whisper in his ear as he gurgled, grasping at his throat to try and breathe, to try and stop the bleeding.

"You, you will suffer." I snarled.

I sheathed my daggers and grabbed his gun, sending taking aim and firing at his nuts and all over his stomach. His gurgling became frantic, his eyes rolling back into his head.

I turned around, seeing the many still left. I opened a line of fire on them, they all dropped, the only one standing was their leader and Luke.

I turned towards their leader. He raised a gun, his hand shaking. His finger flexed over the tripper, though because he was shaking, it went into my left shoulder. I snarled as it hit me, going straight through.

I advanced on him, sheathing my daggers and dropping the gun. I reached back and in a smooth motion drew my sword, bloody and sharp.

"Look, you don't have to do this." He whispered, his eyes widening.

"You've pissed me off now." I replied, cold, my voice as sharp as my blade. He started to turn backwards. He sent another bullet at me, it embedded itself into my right leg.

I snarled, dropping to the ground in a crouch.

I pushed myself up with a growl, I could see my eyes glowing in my face, feel their colors swirling.

I advanced quicker this time. I grabbed my left dagger out of it's sheath and sent it flying, watched it twirl through the air slowly and then sink in to the hilt in his chest.

He dropped to his knees. That's when I reached him.

"Your honor, your fidelity, means nothing." I snarled.

With a twist of my wrist, I swung my sword from the left down in an arc, cutting cleanly through his neck.

He gasped his last breath. A line of blood appeared as blood pooled out of his mouth, and with that, his head fell off his shoulders, his body falling forward, his head head severed from his dead body.

"That. Was. AMAZING! Aiden, that was so cool! You killed like all of them on your own! Luke and I helped but I mean, it was mostly you!" I hopped to her, ignoring the searing pain in my side. There was no exit wound, but it was alright- I don't think it hit anything important, otherwise I'd be writhing on the ground, screaming.

I laid down on her foot, suddenly becoming tired. "Let's rest a little before we continue, right?" I felt groggy as I looked up at her, smiling. "I'm glad we're friends." I whispered before passing out.

I freaked out as Palila passed out on me. "Luke!" I screamed, dropping my sword and kneeling next to her.

I looked to where I last saw Luke standing to see him passed out. That's when I really started freaking out. I screamed, sheathing my sword in it's scabbard, grabbing up Palila in my arms, ignoring the hot white pain in my leg and shoulder, protesting against the fast movement.

I got to Luke, gently putting Palila down on the grass next to him. I felt hot tears enter my eyes, I didn't know what to do. My power hadn't returned yet, the pond was filled with blood, I couldn't drink any of it. I was too weak to kill a fawn right now, I didn't see any berries nearby, but I couldn't leave them to go look for food. I couldn't leave them.

I couldn't heal them, my juice was gone, I didn't know what to do. So I sat down there, letting the unshed tears fall silently down my face as I rocked back and forth, watching them silently.

I know, usually in the movies I would scream at the hero chick to do something, anything, to stop sitting there and be smart and stop being an idiot, though I couldn't think of anything to do without leaving them.

So, instead, I grabbed Luke and had him piggy-back me as he was passed out. I held in the cry of pain as I grabbed up Pailia. My stab wound screamed as blood ran down my backside, down my arms and down my leg.

I wasn't a doctor, I couldn't heal, I couldn't replenish my energy. I was too weak, and every time I went out to look for food, I didn't spot any plants that could help act as medicine.

I started walking instead, still heading towards FGHIJ, tears falling down my face with dirt and blood, splattering on Palila in my arms, blood leaking from the bullet wound she took for me.

I faded away to blackness, dreaming of nothing. At first I breathed shallowly, my blood spilling from my wound, but as it slowly clogged, my breathing became steadier.

I opened my eyes, adjusting to the sudden light. "Aiden?" I asked, leaning up. She was carrying me in her arms, Luke piggy back riding her- except he was knocked out too.

"What.. Are we.. Leaving? Why? huh?" I put a paw to her cheek. She just stared down at me sadly. I know she probably wanted to say a lot, and she opened her mouth- unsure of whether or not she was going to silently do something, or try to talk to me.

I sighed, looking down at her, a loss for words, "I'm taking you to FGHIJ, I can't heal you right now, I need to get you and Luke healed. I'm all out of juice, I don't know what else to do, I can't leave you guys, I have to stay with you . . . " I trailed off, biting my lip os hard I drew blood.

Her paw patted my face, her fur was soft and warm, I couldn't help the tear that escaped my eye, and she wiped it away. "It's alright . . . I'll be fine. Trust me." She replied, a smile on her face.

"I can't heal you, or Luke, even myself. I used up all my juice. I won't leave you guys to lie there silently while I go around and look aimlessly for something to heal you guys with, I couldn't find anything that would be useful earlier for these situations, and I doubt I'll find some now." I bit my lip harder.

"Why don't we stop for a bit. I can dig a little den for myself- in fact, why don't we rest in the trees for a bit? We'd be almost impossible to find and we just have to wait for Luke to become conscious. I don't believe he's injured at all, just unconscious."

I waited for her approval/denial of my suggestion, smiling to try and ease her worries.

I was skeptical, though I nodded, "Alright. Let me find a good spot."

I kept going for a little bit, finding an adequate spot underneath a tree, shielded by a giant boulder and low hanging branches. "This is good." I murmured to myself, gently getting down to the ground and stifling the cry out of pain that tried to escape my throat. I laid Luke against the trunk of the tree, and Palila in the grass.

I settled at Luke's feet, "Come on, FuzzBucket, please, wake up soon." I looked down at myself and scowled at all the blood, feeling the tangles in my hair. I hope I could wash up soon.
