The Dead and the Dirt Empty The Dead and the Dirt

    Post by LikeAB0SS Thu 30 Aug - 14:41

    Zombie Apocalypse –

In this twisted word, the year is 2054, where nothing has really progressed in the world, where it kind of went backwards as well as some future technology came in(picture the videogame FALLOUT). You thought right whatever thought you have in your head, laser rifles, stimpacks, you pay with bottle caps, robots were introduced, fifties music plays often, different species were discovered. A lot has changed.

The world of Zombies came around three years ago. The Planet is not known as Earth any longer. It’s known only as a Dead World. Everything that once survived is lost. Cities are overrun with plants that grew from the virus, a negative effect, most plants now poisonous, and unsafe to consume, and they react to stimuli, and eat anything that walks near. The people? Their hearts beat, though only twenty times a minute. Their brains? Shut off, dead. They run on pure instinct, attack anything nearby. They’re savage.

And because they are savage, because they attack anything they can get their hands on, they don’t know how to eat and cook like normal people, no, they consume raw flesh, which drives them insane with want, need. Their bodies are slowly being destroyed from the virus, originally made to cure any disease out in the world. The scientists got one gene wrong, overlooked everything. It killed the brain, but kept the heart going, it decayed the flesh, though keeps the muscles moving until every single part of the body is burned out, writhing in pain.

    They’re known as the Zombies.

The Zombies, since they run on pure animalistic instinct, they think faster, they think smarter, they run quicker, they are far stronger than any normal human being, as they are fueled constantly with adrenaline that makes them strong, that makes them think, that makes them fast, that makes them impervious to pain because they’re so focused on everything else other than themselves. They might think smarter, though they can’t compute anything else. Remember that I Am Legend movie back in the day? People should have listened, because that director sure did predict the outcome of the world, although these Zombies can go in the light.

The virus can be spread through a bite, through saliva or blood entering the body, either from accidently swallowing something from the infected, or being scratched, it’s best to keep a far distance.

In this world, there’s only a few survivors, and some don’t stick together, they choose to kill one another, form an alliance, heal another, or stab them in the back whence better to take whatever they can. It’s the real world, people can turn on each other with the blink of an eye, it doesn’t matter who they used to be, it’s who they are now.

In this world, the goal is to survive, one way or the other. Every single inch of the world is infected, and if you want to survive?

    Just, try to stay alive.

The City of which you currently reside, is Las Vegas. Where it is far worse than anybody could imagine. Where the Undead are more savage, ruthless, and sometimes eat their own kind if they don’t get the flesh they crave. If you the Zombies don’t kill you, then the expanse desert and heat will.

Post by Tsume Fri 31 Aug - 10:18

(SWEET! I could rant on and on about the impossibility of a zombie outbreak surviving, but that would ruin the mood.. xD I wish I got an email when a new topic here was made!!!! And perfect, I was itching to make a TF2 topic but I knew nobody would join, so yeah... haha. I LOVE Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas)

    Name: Pyro

    Alias: Pyro

    Age: Pyr- I mean, 26

Gender: Female, but you can't tell from the outside

Appearance: Outside suit; What she looks like under her mask- ignore the alternate suit and flamethrower, the suit has a wire frame which shows the bulky figure. For more look up 'Pyro Team Fortress 2' and whatnot.

Usual Outfit: I believe we went over this...

Ass Kicking Music (Theme Song): HAHHAHA Please... Just youtube 'Meet the Pyro' to understand...

Weapons Of Choice: Flamethrower, however she uses an axe too sometimes.

Where They Were Originally From: I have no clue, let's just say she's been near Vegas??

Backstory(If you want, or, they can just describe what happens later on): Pyro was in a city near Vegas when the apocalypse started. She was burning things before that though, so she just decided to wander around and kill any zombies she came upon, mainly looking for supplies. (hehe.. yeah.. IDK)

Companions(If any, they could have died, if so, you could describe them here): Might make some later.

    Pets(If any): None

Personality: Nobody really knows, mostly optimistic. Will burn people she's unsure of. But will mostly be friendly?

Bodily Markings(If any): Some burns, mostly blocked by her fireproof suit.

What You Want Anybody To Know About Them(Or you could just introduce it later): ALTHOUGH the 'Meet the Pyro' video shows that he/she thinks that they're shooting people with rainbows, in 'my' Pyro so to speak she knows she's torching people. She never, ever takes off her mask... She may for someone she's very close with and has been traveling with for like, a year.. or two.. or three- well, you know what I mean. She never reveals if she's female or male, and you can't tell from her voice.. Basically, just imagine her as not having a gender.. ? Even though she does she keeps it secret.. I am rambling now...

Also, let me get this ALL straight because it'll be confusing to peeps who don't know about TF2, IDK if you do or not, BUT ANYWHO.... Team Fortress 2's OFFICIAL Pyro is nothing like 'mine'. So if you know about it and you read on it and find it conflicting, don't over think it, your brain will hurt.. Sorry for this wall of text Dx

But yeah.. To recap because I keep assuming people know what I'm talking about: Pyro wears a fire proof suit and sets people on fire, always wears gas mask(or whatever you wanna call it) which muffles her voice so all she can say is 'Mmmph Mm Mmf?' and so on(I didn't even mention that before, stupid stupid stupid!). She is mostly friendly but stays far away from zombies like any sane person.

(OH GOD! Sorry it's late here and I'm being forced to rush, tomorrow I might just toss this character and come up with a new one, IDK... If you have any questions, no matter how ridiculous or long or how many, please ask them, so I can get all the info in one place.. I'm really scattered today, awful sorry!! Late at night and being rushed is not the time to be RP'ing, but I wanted to get this up before I went to bed!!!)

The Dead and the Dirt Empty Re: The Dead and the Dirt

    Post by LikeAB0SS Fri 31 Aug - 14:16

The humvee jostled on the dirt road, gently tossing me side to side as I cruised far away from NAFB. While I was there, I traded in my smaller Sig Sauer P238 that I usually carried with me in the waistband of my pants for Dual Sig's P226. I placed those on my brand new black thigh holsters, resting against the thick fabric of my marine fatigues, the two tone onyx and silver colored steel from the two rifles winked at me from the corner of my eye, shivers ran down my spine and back up as I could see them through my peripheral vision, already getting hot and bothered just thinking about using my new Nig's.

Grinning from ear to ear, I swiftly turned the wheel, jutting sharply to the left, the many crates of weapons and ammo bounced and rattled in the back and on the hood of the humvee. I rolled my shoulders and cracked my neck, pressing my foot more firmly down on the gas, making it shoot forward into the freeway off the bend. I steadily built speed as I zoomed past abandoned cars on the roads, looking straight ahead and maneuvering every which way.

I felt unusually more tired than normal, you would think that after being back from Afghanistan and dealing with Zombies for around three years, eight months, eleven days, and five hours and having to deal with the same shit would become routine and I would be totally fine with it by now. Wrong. I could have built some tolerance for it, though I didn't, couldn't.

I was speeding down LV Boulevard, coming to the strip, going past abandoned buildings. Everything was quiet, still, a few plastic bags blowing in the wind, tumbleweeds gliding across what was left of the asphalt on the gutted and old streets. I grimaced, eyeing everything around me as I started to slow the humvee, reaching to the passenger seat to grab my new M4A1 CQBR I just siphoned from NAFB.

I hadn't run into anything since I got out of NAFB, no Elites, not even just a regular sentinel for the horde. Nothing. I grimaced, looking into the rearview mirror and yanking it each and every which-way side, getting a look at everything behind me. My eyes met my own dark chocolate gaze, blazing with gold flecks that looked like sparks of fire igniting.

I yanked back my long chestnut curls to stare into my own intense gaze, growing uneasy. I snarled at myself, "Watch it, girlie. Don't hop into that shit again, you screwed your whole day over last time. Don't do it again, else I'd shove my foot so far up your ass, you'll have to go to the doctor to get my foot removed from the deep bowels of your-"

I cut myself off, chuckling darkly to myself and no one. I admired that gaze in the rearview mirror, the unsure emotions flashing at me, my lips quirking up just a smidgen, turning up to one side as I snorted. I know, very lady-like. Though, I don't really give a damn.

If I had to talk to myself for the rest of my life, I would. As far as I knew, I was the only one left in Nevada, as I hadn't seen anyone in over three years since I got back, though it was probably also partly because I stayed up in the mountains up near Red Rock behind the housing departments in a shack, totally safe and far from prying eyes and civilizations.

The Undead couldn't track me there, it was too difficult to, unless someone had some kind of x-ray vision, which I seriously doubted, then nobody would be able to find me, neither were the Elites, the oldest and most cunning of the Dead.

The sum of around twelve ammo crates and weapon crates in the back bumped around every time I swerved around cars, narrowly missing some and pushing others out the way. I took a left on the street and drove down the Strip, going past The Flamingo, and parking the humvee on the center divider of the street, pushing the iron grate in the middle down with the front of the car. I got out and looked at both Miracle Mile shops and Fashion Show mall, my eyes wandering down the street to the Venetian and Palazzo, thinking about the shops there, their once magnificent beauty.

I grimaced, slinging the M4A1 CQBR along my back, drawing out my Sigs and stepping up the steps of the parking lot of Miracle Mile shops towards the opening of the street, going from casino side.

I was here for supplies, nothing more, nothing less. Taking a deep breath, I prepared myself and stepped inside.

Post by Tsume Fri 31 Aug - 21:04

(Holy crap, sorry, half of her history just.. poof! I hope you can understand that pile of.. mush.. stuff... Anyway here's the rest of her history, real quick- Pyro was in a city near Vegas when the apocalypse started. She was burning things before that though, so she just decided to wander around and kill any zombies she came upon, mainly looking for supplies.).

I hummed to myself as I walked along, surveying the burning landscape. Well, it wasn't burning, but everything was more fun with flames! I turned the corner onto a street, wondering if there were any zombies nearby. Nope. They'd have come for me by now. The street looked abandoned- except for a few black tire marks. I crouched before them and rubbed my chin, it was a little hard considering the mask, but whatever.

I had no clue if they were fresh or not, I wasn't some sort of car person. I shrugged and stood, walking down the street again. I neared another corner, and eagerly took it, taking in a whole new view. That included a parked car. And.. Holy shit, it was the Strip! I'd never been here before the Zombie Apocalypse, so it probably looked wayyyy better, but it was still amazing. All the big buildings and not-so-neon lights.. Ooo..!

"Hudda hur!" I shouted, raising my flamethrower above my head. Jackpot! I raced down the street, almost tripping on my own feet. The car was a bit ahead, so I decided to stop there. I glanced up and around at all the pretty buildings, 'Ooo' and 'Ahh'ing at everything. I almost bumped into the car, but I stopped myself.

There were weapons and ammo there.. Suspicious... Either nobody bothered to raid the car before, or the owner of the van was still around. Maybe I was the first to discover it? Huh.. Maybe... I decided to look around and try and find who had driven it.

I stalked into some nearby stores, searching.. I just quickly walked in and glanced around, nobody, nothing. I stepped out and sighed, sitting on the steps of the casino I'd looked into. There were too many stores. I guess I'd just sit and wait for the driver to come back.

(Meeep, SOOOO sorry for my utterly fail post, more rushing ness and distractions!!! Later today my responses should be decipher-able.. or whatever...)

The Dead and the Dirt Empty Re: The Dead and the Dirt

    Post by LikeAB0SS Sun 2 Sep - 20:09

The smell of cigarette smoke long soaked into the carpets, walls, and ceilings. It was dark, no lights flashing, not even a flicker, the light from the outside world only went so far into the deep casino that once was Aladdin. I kept my flashlight off, and let it dangle from my belt loops. It was military grade, indestructible and bright whence turned on, and could attract a lot of unwanted attention if I dared turn it on.

I was ballsy, though I wasn’t that, ballsy. I took my M4A1 from along my back, turning it over my shoulder to hold it up in front of me, bringing it to my sights. I slowly brought the rifle around, putting it in an arc around as I went deeper and deeper into the casino, treading carefully and lightly. It got darker and darker as I ventured inside. I grimaced at the stench, as I went farther in, a dank, musty and mildew scent came to my nose, it was horrible, because it was mixed with all kinds of other scents, along with the smell of rotting flesh.

A horde definitely resided in here. I paused, listening, my heart beat slowing, my breath steady. It was like at that moment, it seemed to get even more silent, ever more dark to where I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face. Usually at that moment of complete and utter silent, was the moment before the chaos hit.

I gritted my teeth and reached down, grabbed my flashlight and turned it on.

An Elite’s face was but a few inches in front of mine.

I took that moment to greet him with the butt of my gun, pushing him away,

The thirty or so Elites behind him let out a war scream. It pierced my ear-drums and it shook the casino around me.

I brought the gun up as the Elites started to descend. They jumped onto the ceiling, crawling, their heads swiveling down and around, the skin on their necks pulling and ripping, what was left of their blood oozing. The horde here was all Elites, for they were old, and they became ever more savage, evolving into what they were, for they hadn’t had flesh in a long time, the only thing that could sustain them.

I flexed my finger over the trigger, the roar of the gun sounding in my ears and blocking out the rest, for it was loud, and my face was right next to the rifle. There was a loud pop, and I heard nothing more than empty noise, not the sounds of the Elites, nor really the sound of the gun, as I momentarily lost my hearing.

Yes, my weapon was that loud. It didn’t help the fact that every single zombie in this damn place was an Elite with the lungs of a whale.

With that, I sent out another round, sending them away and back. I swiftly turned on my heel, and started to sprint out, cursing under my breath.

The doors were closed shut and tight, the glass dark and menacing. The light came to my face. I grinned, and raised my weapon as I sprinted, not stopping for shit. I flexed the trigger again, sending a spray of bullets into the glass, my hearing chose that moment to come back with the splitting sound of the gun rattling my head, the sound of glass shattering.

The Elites behind me screamed, I could hear them crawling and snarling and growling behind me, it sounded so close, though I didn’t dare look back. I flew through the broken doors, their long and sharp teeth gnashing, covered in old blood. Their black eyed small and beady in their twisted faces, the skin starched over them bones. Their limbs were bent and broken in places they shouldn’t be. I watched in sick satisfaction as they moved towards me, totally unnatural, and they moved fast.

If I had a theme song, it would be playing now. I grinned, and flew down the steps of the casino, the sounds of their follow was loud, as they screamed and snarled. I noticed someone in a red suit standing in front of the Humvee, a stricken look in their body form as their face was covered by a mask. I didn’t trust people these days for good reason, though I didn’t stop, “Get in the Humvee! Now!” I snarled. They complied and moved, getting in the passenger seat. I ran at the Humvee, going around the front, getting in through the open door as I always kept it open in case I needed to get away fast, grabbing the keys on the dashboard and stabbing it into the ignition, turning it, the engine came to life just as the Elites reached us.

I threw the gear into reverse and stamped my foot on the gas. I lurched forward at the sudden speed, the Humvee bumped over a few Elites, tossing them to the side like they were nothing. I turned the wheel sharply to the left, the sound of rubber against asphalt screamed as the tires screeched.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion. My hair flew into my face from the force of the turn as I reached for the gear shift, firmly grasping it and shoving it into drive. The car spun, the few Elites that caught up to us and were on the side of the Humvee were thrown to the side by the sheer force of the Humvee coming into contact with their twisted bodies.

The car righted itself and took off down the Strip, towards New York New York. At the four-way I took the right, the tires screeched again at the sudden turn, I was thrown to the side of the Humvee, my head banging against the door. Everything went fuzzy, though I plowed through, going past the old In N’ Out and away from the Strip onto the freeway. I took the left on that intersection, the Elites right behind us still.

I cursed, they would track us until we got far enough away, even then, we were the only food they had probably seen in years, and I don’t think they would let us go this easily. My heart beat quickened just as the sound of their screams reached my ears over the roaring engine. The sky seemed to darken, and the road more deserted.

(Sorry it's so long, I was writing this on word and I got carried away xD )

    Post by Ryuk <3 Mon 3 Sep - 0:14

The smell of rotting flesh seeped through my nostrils even when i was on top of the stratosphere. I was watching the strip for action with my sniper, then i noticed a Humvee being chased by five or so elites. This ought a be fun i smiled to myself.

I looked through the ballistic scope of my sniper and focused in on the zombies, slowly calculating the distance and speed they were going and how far i was. I took my first shot, penetrating one zombie through the skull. Then i focused in again on the others but it appeared that the Humvee stopped. I watched the four elites bang their deformed balls of meat (fists) against the Humvee. I took the time to shoot one more zombie in the head, then i saw a man in a red suit with a flamethrower and gas mask start blazing the three remaining zombies.

I had to meet these people... they knew what they were doing.

The one in the red suit got up and out when they requested I stop. I got out a moment later when I saw flames on the side of the Humvee. Only five Elites out of the forty or so had followed us. This would be easy. I grinned as I pulled my M4A1 off my back. Three of the Elites came around the side, covered in flames, and screamed when they saw me.

They gnashed their teeth, and ran at me. It was on.

I rushed at them, booting the closest one in the face. With the next two, I twisted to the left, sending the butt of the rifle into his face, and my knee into the other's chest. They were all pushed back a few feet, snarling at me. It looked as if their eyes blazed black fire as they swiped their lengthened nails like claws at me, going for me again, though I beat them to it, as I raised my rifle to my sights, aimed, and flexed my finger over the trigger.

Out in the open, the sound boomed across the air, as an explosion of fire erupted from my gun, the bullets coming out in sonic speed as they embedded themselves in the Elites. I grinned as they all went down, screaming, dark blood spraying everywhere.

The Dead and the Dirt Empty Re: The Dead and the Dirt

    Post by Ryuk <3 Mon 3 Sep - 2:30

I just kept watching, as if this were a movie... filmed through sniper sights. It was apparent that these two people needed no help, but they probably needed supplies and i had plenty of that.

When the Apocalypse first hit people all tried leaving to see family. The stratosphere was soon abandon because it was considered a place of joy, so people hated the fact that they would be in a place of joy while the whole earth was being infected. This is why i instantly claimed the skyscraper to myself or any survivors i'd find.

It was getting dark out, this was my opportunity to signal my existence. I had taken notice that the two survivors set camp on top of a Walmart roof, i could see the fire.

I went inside the stratosphere to the main lighting system and found the option for sending messages on the outside of the skyscraper on a huge screen. I looked back at the two survivors and noticed a horde of about fifty zombies a few blocks over.

I quickly sent the message "horde coming your way from the east... goodluck". The whole strip lit up as soon as i sent the message, all i could do now is hope they were seeing this and try to snipe as many zombies as i could.

Then i saw it... the most feared 2,000 pound zombie... THE TANK

I saw the message in the sky from the Stratosphere and I stood to my feet. For now, I would trust the one in red, and now, whomever was in the Stratosphere.

We hadn't gone through Wal-Mart incase there had been Walkers in there, or any Elites. Walkers, I could handle, Elites? Well, they were stronger, faster, and a hell of a lot harder to kill.

I went and kicked the fire over that we had made, it instantly went out on the concrete as it had been made in a trash-can. I slung my M4A1 over my back, I grimaced as I ran over to the ladder I had piled on a corner, I threw it over the wall, gesturing to Red. "Come on. We've got a horde on the way." They got up and started climbing down the ladder.

I had to get to the Humvee.

I brought the M4A1 up to my face, looking through its sights. There, off in the distance a few klicks left, about two football fields away, was a horde. Attracted to our small fire, probably.

I cursed under my breath. I stood up, slung the rifle across my back again, and went to the ladder, sliding down it. When I got to the bottom, I unlatched the ladder and rolled it up under my arm. Red was waiting for me at the Humvee.

A new message appeared over our heads, "TANK. Watch your 6."

I grinned. I went over to the Humvee and put my M4A1 away. I quickly stripped down to my bra and underwear, the warm air meeting my flesh felt euphoric, though I discarded my clothes to the side and went around to the back of the Humvee and opened a crate, drawing out a suit of armor.

I pulled it on, it melded to my body and fit me perfectly. I had found it in one of the hangars in Nellis, one of the experiment labs. The Suit melded to my flesh, the helmet came down, and I grinned as a voice spoke in my head, it was female and sounded like a computer voice, "System, Online. Hostiles, located."

A Hud came down into my vision, it showed my body parts, all vital and in great condition, it showed a radar, and around fifty red blimps were coming near the center blue blimp - me. A yellow blimp appeared, and blinked as it moved - Red.

I walked smoothly over to the other side of the Humvee and opened another crate, pulling out a Smitty Special. It was sort of a gatling laser, but way more powerful than any old regular original.

"Red. Drive." I called to her, my voice was cold, calculating, as I closed the latch on the back and crawled on top of the Humvee. Red got in the driver's seat and started up the Humvee.

"Drive towards the Stratosphere!" I called loudly.

A thousand screaming voices answered me. The horde had come.

I was getting ready to go help the survivors, they'd be here soon. So i put on my suit (prototype 9) then grabbed my katana, revolver, and my M107 50.cal sniper. I took the elevator down, the building's energy source was changed to solar just before the apocalypse started.

I was finally on the ground floor... it was katana time Kinky . I only had to deal with walkers slicing their heads off and watching them roll on the floor, then i just waited for the survivors. The Humvee was in sight!! Finally!!!

The excitement soon left because of the tank's (just in case you didn't know, the tank is a 2000 pound zombie made of pure muscle) chest rumbling shout. I was frozen... i didnt know what to do so i just panicked and ran to the elevator.

I was about to go up then i realized that i didnt want to leave my new fri- survivors. So i turned back around and pulled out my rhino revolver and aimed down my sights, the tank was right in front of the parking lot. The Humvee was racing towards the entrance, so i just started firing at the tank's meaty head aiming specifically for it's black beady eyes.

The tank wasn't even stunned, he just kept plowing through all the parked cars in the parking lot. So i put my revolver in my holster then slipped off my rifle and started doing the same (shooting its head). Muscle and flesh was flinging off of the beast's head but still nothing happened...

I dropped my rifle on the floor then i pulled out my katana from its red wooden sheath, it was time to get uncomfortable Razz

I saw the Tank at the entrance of the Stratosphere as I rode on top of the Humvee. It was plowing through the parked cars and going on a rampage. It was insane. The thing was huge. I saw bullets enter it's head from above, though it wasn't phased. I grinned from ear to ear. I flipped a switch on the back of the Smitty Special.

I felt the Humvee hesitate under me as it lost a little speed, "Keep going!" I shouted. The Humvee plowed forward, going straight for the Tank. I pulled the Smitty Special up to my sights, bracing the top of the metal Humvee with my feet. I looked through the scope, seeing the Tank through the small sights.

I took in a breath of air, holding it as my finger moved over the trigger. As I let out my breath of air, I let my finger tense up, and pull the trigger. A green light gathered up at the opening of the barrel, and then shot forward, striking the Tank in the back between his large shoulder blades. The air smelt of burnt flesh, and decaying bodies. Smoke rose from his body as I kept hitting him with the plasmic green glow of laser.

He turned, fully embracing the green glow, and I grinned at the sight of his thick skin taking it all just as the Humvee hit him.

The Tank went flying back, hitting the wall of the Stratosphere. The ground shook from the force, and cracks appeared in the wall of the Stratosphere just as a figure stepped out of the Stratosphere in a suit.

"Take it all, Whore!" I shouted, my voice ringing across the air as I jumped up and off the Humvee, stepping down over the windshield and down off the front hood.

The Tank got up, snarling and growling, it screamed at me, the force of it hitting my suit.

"Hostile level, increased. Preparing for battle." My suit echoed in my head as the Tank screamed. I grimaced and took a few steps closer, holding my finger down on the trigger as the spray of green gathered again, and shot at the Tank, pushing him back against the wall of the Stratosphere.

"Go hide the Humvee!" I screamed back at Red. I heard the screech of tires as the Humvee pulled away. I told my suit to pull the blue helmet back, and it complied, the glass coming back, disappearing from sight as my dark hair flew free, my eyes blazing as I stepped closer. The Tank pushed at the green glow, it's muscles deteriorating. The sound of the Smitty was that of sonic booms of continuous wubbs.

He would break through soon enough, we had to take him out somehow, and quickly. Though, these f*ckers were hard as hell to kill, harder than Elites.

And sure enough, he broke free of the green glow and roared. It thundered across the space as he charged at me, his nostrils flaring, his black beady eyes aimed right at me as his outstretched muscular arms like thick metal bands of pure power swung towards me.

I leaped 30 feet high (because of my suit) at the tank after standing there stunned because of the laser gatling gun. My katana was raised above my head, every muscle in my body was flexed. The tank saw me in the air practically flying so he waved his arm slamming into my ribs like a car would to a wooden fence.

I landed up against the stratosphere, my suit was blinking a bright warning sign inside the mask on the glass. My body couldn't get up because i was so weak so i just threw my katana and it got lodged straight threw the back of the tank's head.

I saw the figure in the suit get thrown instead of me. I made the helmet come down over my face, the katana the figure had held was now lodged in the Tank's head. The Tank screamed one last time before it fell over. I ran over and yanked out the katana. And using all my strength, I swiped it down in an arc, slicing off it's head. There was a bit of resistance as it's neck as thick.

Though, his head came off either way. The now lifeless body thumped to the ground, it shook the earth underneath us. I dropped the katana next to the Smitty.

I ran towards the figure against the Stratosphere walls, the screams of the coming horde came to us, and I winced as I looked back to see their approaching forms on the horizon. I pushed my helmet back, and looked to his face. He seemed disorientated, and I wouldn't blame him.

"Sir? Can you hear me? My name is Valkyrie Rose. I'm taking you up in the Stratosphere just as Red gets here. The Horde is coming, and I need to get you inside, now." I gathered him up in my arms, huffing with the effort as he and his suit was heavy just as Red came to us, their voice muffled as she tried to speak to us through her suit and mask.

I shook my head, "We'll talk later. Right now, our priorities are right here, right now. I have to get him up there before the Horde can get us." They nodded their head, I had them get the Katana and Smitty and I kicked open the door of the Stratosphere, getting us inside and shutting the door firmly behind us.

One of the survivors with a prototype suit grabbed me then carried me to the elevator. Once we arrived to the top i pointed out where the skybar was and then asked if she'd grab me a bottle of liquor so i could drink the pain away. I told her to get comfortable then i drank myself to sleep...

The man in the suit I had carried up asked me to get him a bottle of liquor, I complied, grabbing a Sky Vodka. I took a swig myself, taking a long, deep pull of the liquor. It burned as it slid down my throat, and I enjoyed every second of it.

I walked over to him, giving him the bottle, he took a pull as well and drank down only a quarter of the bottle before passing out. I grimaced at him, seeing how he could just fall asleep when I couldn't. Before passing out, he slurred and told me to get comfortable. I carried his body over to a couch in the sky-lounge of the bar. I laid him out and asked my suit to give me diagnostics.

    "Running Diagnostics. Processing, please wait . . . "

His body appeared on my hud, and it showed his body, "Diagnostics complete. Transferring data, now."

All his injuries appeared on the parts of his body, it showed his entire body, how he was laid out like he was naked before me, his suit just gone like I had x-ray vision. I blushed behind the glass on my helmet though looked at him critically.

I cursed under my breath, seeing three fractured ribs, a concussion, a little internal bleeding. His left leg was broken, and his face was all bruised up, his right cheek bones were broken, fractures looming dangerously close to his eyes.

"Medical training, commencing." My suit sounded in my head. Images flashed through my head, I collapsed to my knees, grasping the sides of my helmet as an overload of information entered my brain.

I knew I needed a forceps, medical brace, a scalpel, and surgical tubing for a Doctor's Bag to mend his broken leg, and I needed three Broc Flowers, three empty syringes, and three Xander Roots to bring up his health for three Stimpacks.

I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck. I could easily find forceps, medical braces, scalpels, surgical tubing, and empty syringes with no problem. Though, finding Broc Flowers and Xander Roots would be a little difficult. I'd have to venture out.

I got up and ran my hands over spots on his suit, "Systems, Update. Keep tabs on vitals. Connect to Valkyrie Suit."

I heard his suit respond with beeping noises. My own suit responded out loud, not just in my head, "Connecting . . . Connection complete. Vitals transferring, now. Communication systems online. Speaking abilities online, you may now talk freely within the connection."

I grinned. I pulled back the glass on my helmet so Red could hear me as well, "I'm going out to find some Xander Roots and Broc Flowers, along with medicinal things. Stay here, I will be back shortly."

I secured my Sigs more firmly around my thighs and carried the Smitty in my arms. I started for the elevator, his body image was transferred to the left side of my screen, the radar was on the right lower corner of the hud. The glass once down again, I took in a deep breath and prepared myself for war.

(Just going to reply, since I'm in the library of the school and there is absolutely nothing to do, the librarians gave me full access to whatever since the class below me went to their meeting and I'm the only upperclassmen so I had to report to the library and do whatever, so I'm going to do this! Yay! xD

Sorry, totally bored and stuff. xD )

The doors of the elevator opened, the heat from the outside world streamed in through the windows all along the bottom of the building. I stepped through the elevator doors and they closed with a whirr behind me. The day on the outside world seemed chaotically quiet. You know, the silence before the storm? I tensed up, my suit noticed my strain, the radar blinked in my HUD. My eyes darted to the transparent circle.

There was only the blue blimp in the center that indicated me, that I was alive. Though, that didn't ease my discomfort, because who knew what lurked just on the outskirts of the radar? How far did it reach? The suit flexed around me, tightening to my body and molding itself to each and every curve, melding to my skin.

I sighed, the feeling was of comfort, and protection. The suit was like power armor, as it added to my strength, and I easily took up the Smitty Special in my arms and slung it across my back. Not an easy feat for just any normal person, as the weapon of mass destruction was huge.

Whence it was secures, my hands drifted down the side of my body, my fingers brushing the butts of the Sigs. I clasped my hands around them, my thumbs jerked at the bonds securing them in place and there was a tiny click, a snap, a hiss of fabrics as I glided them out of their holsters, free from their bonds.

I pulled the Sigs up, the barrels facing the ceiling as I advanced towards the doors of the Stratosphere.
